Prayers for the Interprovincial Women's Board

Please be in prayer this weekend for your Interprovincial Women's Board as they travel to Meet with the Interprovincial Women's Board of the North to make plans for future Bible studies and other decisions for the future of the Moravian women.

Bake Sale,
yard sale,
craft sale,
and rent a space..
on October 15, 7:30-2pm.
Breakfast, and lunch will be served.
Chicken pies, cakes, bread, fall garden such as turnip greens and etc.

2011 Fall Celebration was a Great Success!

Rev. Dr. Robert Sawyer was our guest speaker at the event. Rev. Sawyer has updated his fathers (Rev. Edwin Sawyer) book: "Adventures in Faith with Paul". The book is this years Bible Study. The PWB has heard much excitement about this years book. We hope you enjoy it and that it is a blessing to your Women's Fellowship! We also want to thank Rev. Sawyer for leading our work shop on Saturday!


The PWB is celebrating its 85th Anniversary this year. The attendees on Saturday marked the occasion with birthday cake and many well wishes for another 85 years of service to the Moravian Church of America, Southern Province, the community, the women of the MCSP and most of all to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.


Past President Linda Jones and Present President Betty King enjoy some fellowship time together.


The women of Circle 8 at New Philadelphia Moravian Church in Winston-Salem, hosted the Fall Celebration and prepared a delicious meal for the attendees. The PWB wishes to extend our gratitude to these ladies!

There were 75+ women in attendance on Saturday, September 17, 2011. We experienced lots of anticipation for the new bible study book! There were about 18 churches of the Southern Province represented. The PWB budget for 2012 was presented to the Province and was voted on and accepted. The PWB added new names to the newsletter subscription. We also collected right at $150 in charitable contributions in the memory of the late Sister Jill Sawyer. Look for more details in the November newsletter and an exciting announcement about the 2012 Fall Celebration!
