Craftspeople Wanted

NOTE: Please forward to Women's Fellowship, Men's Fellowship, Youth Fellowship, and other groups in your congregation that have crafts, T-shirts, or cookbooks for sale! Also to craftspeople in your congregation that would be interested!

Following the sale of the Moravian Book and Gift Shop to Old Salem, Inc., we acquired the web site URLs www.moravianbookandgift.org, www.moravianbookandgift.com, and www.moraviangift.com.

We are developing a multi-seller mall specifically for Moravian crafts, candles, stars, paintings, church cookbooks, and other related items.

The proceeds will benefit ministries of the Moravian Church, Southern Province. We will promote the site both through email marketing and "The Moravian" magazine.

Craftspersons, congregations, Women's Fellowships, Men's Fellowships, Youth Groups, can sign up as SELLERS and list their own items. Each seller is responsible for listing and shipping their own items. Credit card processing will be handled by the site through PayPal. Sellers will then be paid after certifying shipment either through PayPal or check. Checks will only be issued monthly, PayPal payment is STRONGLY preferred.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

1. There is no fee to sign up as a seller.

2. If your group has a PayPal account already, please sign up using that email address.

3. There is no monthly fee for listing.

4. The site will charge each seller 15% of the actual sale price for each item sold. If you don't sell anything, you don't owe anything.

5. PLEASE PRICE YOUR ITEM WITH THIS IN MIND! Sellers will keep more of each sale than they would selling through any normal retail outlet, which normally only pay 50% of sale price.

6. You will receive an email upon placement & payment of an order with all order/shipment information.

7. You are responsible for shipping the item promptly

8. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IT COSTS TO SHIP YOUR ITEM! This is a common problem with church sale items. We recommend Priority Mail Flat Rate supplies, which can be ordered free and labels printed online.
