Prayer
Your Greatest Privilege
Does your payer life need a little pep? Have you
ever wanted to be more comfortable praying in groups? Do you get distracted
while praying? This year the Bible Study book will help you with all of these
topics and much more.
Written in 1987 by Bishop Robert Iobst,
reprinted for 2014-2015 you will revisit the beloved Bishop Iobst’s ideas and
thoughts on improving your prayer life. The book guides readers to explore and
enjoy many forms of prayer practices. Some topics included are: how to pray at
home, what the Bible says about prayer, praying in meetings, using the hymnal/Book
of Worship when praying and praying for and during worship services.

Study Book
Women
in Mission: Making a Difference in Our World II
The continuation of last year’s book “Women in
Mission: Making a Difference in Our World” will be concluded this year in part
two, edited by the Coordinator of the Unity Women’s Desk - Reverend Patricia Garner.
Last year we were introduced us to the history, organization, work and
successes of women in five areas around the world where Moravian Churches are
located. Get ready to “visit” and learn about
our Moravian sisters in England, Uganda, Honduras, Nicaragua, the Caribbean, and
others in this informative book. See the March 2014 issue of “The Moravian Magazine” page 20, “Sewing the Remnants Together” for a sample from this book.
