Work of the Southern Moravian Women

“For we are God’s servants, working together; you are God’s field, God’s building. … For no one can lay any foundation other than the one that has been laid; that foundation is Jesus Christ.” I Corinthians 3: 9, 11. Dear Sisters, I write to you in gratitude of being able to serve you as president of the Provincial Women’s Board, 2016 - 2018. The scripture stated above is our challenge that the PWB are servants striving to lead our women in Christian growth and Fellowship. We want to be with you; we want to share with you in your joys and in your challenges. We want to thank our sisters who have served eight years on our board. They are Janet Doub, Ann Hemrick, Melissa Hiatt, and Frances Swing. Gloria Baker, and Barbara Howard also served during this time. The PWB participated in the Children's Festival on Sunday August 14, 2016. We celebrated and shared our 90th birthday with the children of the Southern Moravian Providence. Were you there? Come visit us on Sunday at the Children's Festival, we will be celebrating our 90th Birthday! The Provincial Women's Board has served the Southern Province for 90 years providing fellowship opportunities, Bible Study books and support to all the Women's Fellowships of the Southern Province.
