Carols will provide a festive air and homemade gifts and goodies will abound at the Christmas Bazaar at Christ the King Church on Saturday, November 5, 2016. Specialties such as Moravian sugar cakes and Mrs. Hanes Moravian cookies in several tasty varieties will be available for sale, as well a large selection of homemade baked goods. One of the biggest sellers are the church’s traditional Moravian chicken pies. Many patrons “stock up” and freeze baked goods in preparation for the upcoming holidays. Unique homemade crafts such as jewelry, Thanksgiving and Christmas décor, wreaths, purses, and knitted items will be featured. Other popular gift items are decorated, pre-mixed soup and cookie recipe jars. Get a jump on your Christmas shopping for neighbors, teachers, and family members that treasure a personal touch. We also are having our first “Christmas Decoration Sale” on Saturday, November 5 th . 

We are having our annual Fall event on Saturday October 29 from 8-1. We will have a yard sale, Bake sale, Chicken pies and frozen spaghetti, a children’s corner to decorate pumpkins, and serve breakfast of sweet goodies and sausage biscuits. Our lunch will be homemade vegetable soup and hot dogs. We are looking for any vendors that would like to set up a table and sell their wares. If you might be interested please call Donna Tesh .
