The Arrival of the Quilt

The quilt ( see post below for details ) that was made and donated by the ladies at New Hope - Newton has arrived at the PWB office. It is really more beautiful in person, I will enjoy it hanging on the wall of my office until September! Come by and see it! Or better yet - buy a raffle ticket!

So if you attended the Spiritual Life Retreat at Laruel Ridge a few weeks ago, you will find the following letters most entertaining to say the least. PWB Spiritual Life Retreat 2010

From Jane Carter Handly: Dearest Moravian Sisters... I still bask in the beauty of all of you and the true difference you make in this world. Being at Laurel Ridge was supposed to be a retreat for you...and that is what I planned. You can't imagine how delighted I was that the retreat was a blessing for me as well. I came away renewed, inspired, energized and filled with joy because of you. Thank you! Wrenn Conrad has been my friend since 1979. I have loved and respected her every day since I met her. She taught my son....thank God....and I must give her credit for our great experience on Saturday night. She was phenomenal. (picture a standing ovation!) All of the gratitude prayer group leaders helped everyone to focus on gratitude and service...plus fun. Thank you. Kelly Moore was a great supporter and gave us a beautiful reminder of the glory of the Lord's Supper. Thank you.
