Our Facilitator



Carol Foltz is a native of Winston-Salem, NC.  She grew up in the Trinity Moravian Congregation in the same town.  She was ordained in 1978 and has served the Southern Province since that time.  Her work has included Provincial



positions, hospital chaplaincy and pastoring congregations.  She is currently the pastor at Moravia Moravian Church in Oak Ridge, NC.  Her passion is dog training and her dogs have helped her throughout her ministry to make connections with those she serves. Her new dog is Sky.



 
About the Spiritual Life Retreat

The Spiritual Life Retreat is an opportunity for all women in the Province to gather for spiritual renewal and fellowship. The goal for the retreat is for participants to leave the weekend rested, renewed in her faith journey, and with new friends in our sisterhood.

Check–in begins at 4:00 pm on Friday evening with  dinner at 6:00. The program will begin at 7:00 pm in Higgins Lodge.

On Saturday morning breakfast will be served at 8:00 am. We will meet for devotions at 9:00 am to start the day in a relaxing atmosphere for spiritual renewal and growth.




We will conclude our time together Sunday morning with worship and communion service followed by brunch and a parting blessing.

News about the Cruise! or Conference! (14th Moravian Women's Conference)

Our Ship - Oasis of the Seas - Photo Cred: Kari Vetter July 2025  Dear Sisters,  It seems like it was only yesterday that I was sitting in a meeting in Charleston, West Virginia listening to details about the 14th Women’s Conference. Fast forward two years later and WOW! I had a blast on the cruise. Congratulations on a job well done. Committee members thank you!   I was a first time cruiser and conference attendee. I had never been to Jamaica. So as you can see there were many things that were a first for me. Would I do this again? Oh, yes! I can’t wait to see what and where the Northern Providence decides to hold the 15th conference.  I was not disappointed in the ships accommodations. My room was adequate in size and I had a large window to watch the waves. The many dining areas really surprised me. The service and food was wonderful.
