Basics by Nancy Chandler
"BIBLE
BASICS"
by Sister Nancy Chandler is a study of the book of GENESIS. There are
nine sessions with the first being a Bible Overview. You will then be
challenged with the study of Creation, The Fall of Adam and Eve, The Flood/
Noah, the Tower of Babel, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph. Chapters 1 - 45 of
Genesis are the targeted chapters. Plan to have a year of gaining knowledge and
good discussion with this study.
Join in the Provincial Bible Study with women
from all across North America as we experience these topics with the
leadership of Sister Nancy Cooper Chandler from Columbus, Indiana. Nancy is a
member of the Hope Moravian Congregation and was the Chairwoman of the 2015
Moravian Women's Conference in Maryland.
Mission
Study Book
The mission book for 2017-18 is written by John
and Nancy Gilliland. (John passed away in early January.) John was
a doctor and Nancy a nurse; they served in Nicaragua and Honduras
starting in the mid 50's. After retirement, they settled in southern
Indiana and attended Hope Moravian Church. Nancy and her children
finished editing the book and sent it to the publisher a couple of weeks
ago. The book covers how they met, decided on mission work, their
education, going to Central America to work in a clinic and raise their
daughters.
