DAY OF PRAYER SERVICES FOR 2024

 

February 14, 11:00am. Home Moravian, Ash Wednesday, Speaker: The Rev. Nancy Johnson Vaders, Director of Outreach for St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Winston-Salem. Coffee Fellowship at 10am. February 18, 2:00 P.M., Lovefeast, Christ Moravian, Speaker: The Rt. Rev. Dr. Lane Sapp. Lovefeast. Nursery provided.

 

February 21, 11:00 A.M. Trinity Moravian, Speaker: The Rev. Dana Myers. Lunch will be served after the service.

 

February 28, 11:00 A.M. Ardmore Moravian, Speaker: The Rev. Kelly Moore.  Refreshments will be served at 10:00 A.M.  The service will be in person and online: www.FACEBOOK.com/ArdmoreMoravian/videos 

 

March 6, 11:00 A.M. Bethania Moravian, Speaker: The Rev. Russ May. Coffee served at 10:00 A.M. This service will be in person only.

 


Church Women United plans to have the World Day of Prayer on Friday, March 1st at 11:30 a.m.  It will be held at Unity Moravian Church, 8300 Concord Church Rd., Lewisville, 27023.



March 13, 11:00 A.M. Fairview Moravian, Speaker: The Rt. Rev. Tom Shelton.  The service will be in person and include communion. The service will be available on YouTube and Facebook.

 

March 20, 11:00 A.M. Konnoak Hills Moravian, Speaker: Rev. Margaret Norris.  Lovefeast. The service will be in person and online: http://www.khmoravian.org/  Select “YouTube Channel” at the top of the page.

News about the Cruise! or Conference! (14th Moravian Women's Conference)

Our Ship - Oasis of the Seas - Photo Cred: Kari Vetter July 2025  Dear Sisters,  It seems like it was only yesterday that I was sitting in a meeting in Charleston, West Virginia listening to details about the 14th Women’s Conference. Fast forward two years later and WOW! I had a blast on the cruise. Congratulations on a job well done. Committee members thank you!   I was a first time cruiser and conference attendee. I had never been to Jamaica. So as you can see there were many things that were a first for me. Would I do this again? Oh, yes! I can’t wait to see what and where the Northern Providence decides to hold the 15th conference.  I was not disappointed in the ships accommodations. My room was adequate in size and I had a large window to watch the waves. The many dining areas really surprised me. The service and food was wonderful. I felt really pampered!  The best part of the conference were the Moravian women that I met. Their laughter, prayers, mus...
