2025-26 Book Orders, due March 1!

Book Order  for 2025

The Bible Study book will be titled Waiting on the Lord

By Rev. Evette J Campbell

INTRODUCTION: Life is replete with waiting, a struggle that resonates with many of us. Waiting, an integral part of life, is not something most of us handle with ease. We inhabit a world that champions instant gratification, a “microwave” culture, where waiting is not only unpopular but is considered a waste of time because it is believed that nothing can be achieved in waiting. This societal norm may mirror our experiences, but it sharply contradicts the spiritual principles we hold dear. It is common to grumble and complain about the challenge of waiting, and this is a sentiment that we can all relate to.

Admittedly, waiting can often lead to frustration, but let’s pause for a moment to consider the immense value of embracing the waiting process. Waiting, though arduous, yields significant benefits that would not have been realized otherwise. In the context of our faith, waiting is not a passive act but an active one that can lead to growth, healing, deliverance, spiritual renewal, divine revelation, and self-reflection! Waiting draws us nearer to the divine and aligns us with Gods will for our lives, a fundamental belief of the Christian faith. This realization can ignite a spark of inspiration and instill hope in our spiritual journey.

Orders must be received by March 1, 2025.

News about the Cruise! or Conference! (14th Moravian Women's Conference)

Our Ship - Oasis of the Seas - Photo Cred: Kari Vetter July 2025  Dear Sisters,  It seems like it was only yesterday that I was sitting in a meeting in Charleston, West Virginia listening to details about the 14th Women’s Conference. Fast forward two years later and WOW! I had a blast on the cruise. Congratulations on a job well done. Committee members thank you!   I was a first time cruiser and conference attendee. I had never been to Jamaica. So as you can see there were many things that were a first for me. Would I do this again? Oh, yes! I can’t wait to see what and where the Northern Providence decides to hold the 15th conference.  I was not disappointed in the ships accommodations. My room was adequate in size and I had a large window to watch the waves. The many dining areas really surprised me. The service and food was wonderful. I felt really pampered!  The best part of the conference were the Moravian women that I met. Their laughter, prayers, mus...
